Dance of the Penguins
A downloadable game for Windows
In Dance of the Penguins, penguins make no distinction between good and evil. You have been tasked with collecting candy canes while surviving their shenanigans. See how long you can evade the hordes.
Play with the WASD keys, or the left stick on your controller, and avoid all penguins.
This is our first game, developed from the ground up using C++ and OpenGL without the use of an existing engine. The models and animations were made with Blender.

Install instructions
1. It might be necessary to install OpenAL if prompted (see README for instructions)
2. If necessary, settings can be adjusted in UserData/SaveData.json (open with notepad)
3. The menu can only be navigated with the mouse

Wow, truly a powerful game about the nature of beasts vs human survival instinct. the soundtrack tops it all off perfectly by showing the clash of the two themes by reconstructing songs from human culture with beastial noises. Art at its finest.
(Joking aside, a good arcade game with floaty controls and an intuitive difficulty design, could really be a viral mobile game if ported correctly.)
Thank you very much. We always strive to push the artistic boundaries of video games. Dance of the Penguins is but a mere pebble in the great river leading the world towards a brighter future. Our next game will be a flappy bird clone.
